The Activities | Our Suggestions (not included in this proposal)
Board a fantastic sailing yacht and go at the discovery of Lembongan Island, a small, protected island about 11 km southeast of mainland Bali, measuring only four by three km and ringed with mangrove swamps, palms and white sandy beaches. Once arrived on the island You will be transferred to The Anchorage by tender. The Anchorage will be your base for the day. The 4500 square meter area designed with gentle running waterways, swimming pools, tropical bale's, create a cool serene setting, your island oasis! From here you will leave for any activity you wish to participate in or simply spend sun drenched hours soaking up the island ambience. Choose from the following activities:
1) The highly recommended Mangrove Tour (2.5hrs): an island car takes you to the Eastern coast of the island from where you choose to cycle or be driven to Mangrove Point. Board a traditional dug out canoe and be taken into the mysterious mangroves. A powered canoe and car will return you to the Anchorage. Suggested use of T-shirt, sunblock and hat.
2) Village Tour (1 hr): by quaint, open sided island cars, you can discover the aspects of tropical island life. See the villagers go about their daily life farming seaweed, visit the historical hand dug underground house, inspect the catch bought in by local fisherman and enjoy the view from Pura Puncak Sari a temple built on the islands highest point.
3) Scuba Diving (1 hrs): for first timers and divers holding a certificate. First timers will be introduced by an instructor before entering into a safe bay-dive on spectacular coral and fish life. Qualified divers may ask to see one of the many world class dive sites in this area. Depending on conditions, the well-documented "blue corner" may be the choice. Often the awesome, massive and rare sunfish are seen. Huge tuna, shark and manta rays are often seen. Most dive sites for qualified divers are drift dives.
4) Glass Bottom Boat, Reef Viewing: a glass bottom boat will take you to Lembongan Bay where the best viewing of coral and abundant fish life can be seen. A must for those not snorkeling.
Your BBQ buffet luch will be cooked a-la-minute with only the freshest of ingredients. After you may wish to spend sun drenched hours enjoying "The Anchorage" facilities, the pool, waterslide, sun lounges or curl up with a book in one of the tents. From here a stroll to the beach for a cool swim or snorkel in the sapphire blue waters, or inspect the tropical shells washed up on the shore. All activities and tours are available morning or afternoon, should you wish to explore or simply relax in this refreshing oasis. Sail back to Bali around 4pm.
A private family bike tour to show Bali at a leisurely pace, adapting the route for kids: great for families who want to experience Bali together in an intimate setting. Your experienced guide will share stories and history about Bali geared toward making it really fun and educational for the kids. The tour route is also very easy and safe, and it sticks to back-roads. You'll be picked up and returned to your hotel by A/C van, have breakfast at Kintamani Village at a local restaurant overlooking the lake and the Mount Batur, walk into the rice paddy to learn how rice is grown and cultivated, visit a coffee plantation, and a village temple, and have lunch at an authentic Balinese home.
The perfect introduction to Bali's fascinating culture and handicrafts, picturesque rice fields, traditional villages and a spectacular lake and volcano. Your first stop for the day will be the stone carving village of Batubulan to see the colourful and exciting Barong & Kris Dance. This dance tell of the eternal fight beetwen good and evil and is an epic from the Mahabrata story. After the performance you'll leave for Kintamani where you'll enjoy spectacular views of Mount Batur with ribbons on black lava running down from the peak into the valley below. The crater is holy and a sanctuary at the top is dedicated to the fertility Goddess. Lake Batur lies serene and shimmering against the backdrop of the mountains. A beautiful opportunity for photographs. Travel from the palm-fringed shores of the lowlands to the towering mountains of the north, encompassing across-section of the entire island of Bali. You'll visit the village of Mas, famous for its wood carvings, the village of Celuk, renowned for its silver crafts, and the Elephant Cave, dated to the 11th century. The return journey brings us to the temple and holy springs at Sebatu and beautiful rice terraces at tegalalang. A final stop will be made in the village of Ubud renowned for its artists and dancer alike.
